Triffids and Gnomes...jawaproSat 14/04/2012 04:16 PM
Yep - I've been gardening again.
I dug up some of my awesome triffids and moved them into pots so I could plant a different plant in their spot. The Triffids were starting to band together and over-balance the garden - so I had to split them up with this tall green succulent thingo. And of course - I had to employ a gnome to keep the peace.
Some of the Triffids have been temporarily relocated to pots. When I get the shed up - I'll make a bit of a garden around it and the Triffids may make that their new home. Till then they are guarding my back door from zombies.

Shed UpdatejawaproFri 06/04/2012 07:34 AM
After finally collating all the required paperwork for my Shed application, I took it into the Building Surveyor's. They charged me a lot of money and turned that pile of paperwork into a different pile of paperwork.
I took the new pile to the council and they charged me a lot of money to begin turning that lot of paperwork into another lot of paperwork....
So I'm now waiting for Building Approval from the council.
Hopefully one day all this paperwork will turn into a shed.

Hey Lisa, welcome back!
Your new song is wierd - but I quite like it.
It seems rather more 'upbeat' than anything you've done in the past.

Symons PlainsjawaproWed 04/04/2012 08:38 AM
Doesn't feel like long ago that we were here - but it's V8 weekend at Symons Plains again!
We went on the Saturday and had a blast. The V8 race was fantastic and had us on our feet for the entire thing. Some seriously close fighting before the two FPR boys took off and won by a full straight's worth of lead.
Davison and Frosty - what a pair of legends!
And a great day to be flying the Ford flag.

More mud...jawaproTue 27/03/2012 10:52 PM
Let me tell you a story.
In this story, Oscar goes for a drive, and gets somewhat stuck in some mud. He can move a bit, but if he does, he might fall over, and that wouldn’t be fun.
But don’t panic - the Mighty Maverick arrives to save the day!
Which would have been good, except Chris took a week hooking up the snatch strap - so Oscar got all wet. This is the first time Chris has ever towed me out.
It’s time to dig out that heater again and dry out the carpets.
But things didn’t all go the Maverick’s way - the door broke and had to be held shut by some rope. High Tech engineering.
The two cars continued on bravely for the rest of the day. With the new R.O.P.E. door lock, Chris had to get out of the passenger side each time we stopped and couldn’t close his window. Of course, having an open window while playing in Mud isn’t considered a great idea - so his car got muddy on the inside too.
All in all - it was a good day out.
And thus ends the tale....
