I have a Building Permit!

It's not the end of the road though - I still need to get an engineer to sign off on the footings plan and find a plumber - but it's a very important step in the right direction!

Speaking of plumbers, have you considered putting a small sink in the shed somewhere? You need to have somewhere you can wash your hands, preferably something that can get *really* dirty. We have a tap outside which does the trick just fine, but if you don't have something convenient a sink in the shed could be a good thing. I suppose you could also use your sink just inside the back door fairly easily.Either way, if you are interested in doing so, you need to get pipework put into your slab, and that can only happen before you pour.
