While down south for the Christmas break - I also picked up Rusty Rose, the very rusty G60 from Primrose Sands that I blogged about a few weeks ago.
After a lot of handwinching to load her, and some very skilled driving by Dad to get the trailer back out of guy's driveway, we were on the road.
I'm slightly surprised the body didn't completely fall apart on the way home - it's very rusted. But it wasn't the body I was interested in this time - it's the other spares and very cheap price.
As some of you may know, Oscar hasn't been running very well lately - but he towed Rose quite nicely. It was a slow trip up the hills - but far better than I'd imagined. Wasn't exactly economical on fuel though.
So now there are 4 G60s living at my parents place.
Should I mention I just found two more on Gumtree today?....
