Yep - that’s how a 4x4 should look. Covered in mud!
Ok - so I got bogged - but it was a heap of fun.
Snuffy and Oscar back together again. Everyone else had bailed so it was just Jason, me, and Simon (last minute addition). Jason and Simon had stuff to do this arvo, so we decided to take a jaunt down to Brushy Lagoon to take a look for a couple of hours.
Nice place - with some nice tracks. The sort of place where you can be as adventurous as you like, and take the easy way if you’re not.
We avoided the deep water - but the deep mud, bring it on!
Got through on my third attempt, but Jason powered through on his first. I’d love his larger wheels.
I got bogged, but Jason had the only damage. The mud forced itself into his rear bar and pushed out one of his lights. Doh!
Who needs rubber - Snuffy’s wheels are made of mud.
Along the way back we met up with another group. This ute decided to go for a swim.
Don’t drop the shackle!
We avoided the deep sections.
Great fun - next time we’ll take Tim in his Maverick - it likes to swim, and I’d love a chance to tow him out :)
