This just in from the surgeons - Phaeton’s motherboard transplant seems to have gone well - and he is recovering.

It’s a darn shame though - my original motherboard was far more awesome than the replacement, but you don’t have many options when you’re looking for a mobo that fits my cpu and ddr2 ram anymore.

In other news - it’s also a good chance to force myself to move to Windows 7. I’ve had win7 as a secondary OS for a while - but this’ll force me not to swap back to XP.

Personally, I quite like Win7. I just find it very frustrating switching between Win7 on Bernard and XP at uni.

The computers at school run Windows 7 - it's alright I suppose, but there's not really any gigantic changes from Vista like there were from XP to Vista.

Although, what with me not being the expert I pretend to be, I could be quite wrong.
