Website Update

Here's a breif update for people who might be wondering.

Parts of my website still arn't working after the crash.

• Some of my CSS formatting isn't working properly.
• Emails arn't being sent (so I don't know when someone replies)
• My other domains all point here instead of their own sections
• Posting comments/blogs still kills the background
• And some other odds and ends.

Currently I'm in negotiations with Klutz and Turkeybrain about wether we want to set up our own Web Server. Until we decide that, I probably won't try too hard to fix this one. In the mean time - if there are any problems that you feel are worth telling me about - you can let me know. My email is my username at Gmail.com.

That's not good. And your own web server could be expensive. But then again, you could advertise and host other ppls sites, and charge them or put ads on them and make funds for that. If you go ahead, let me know. I might not be able to back you guys financially, but I have other means and I want a piece of this. :)

The way we've been thinking about setting it up isn't too expensive, actually. Rather than having a full on physical web server, we've been looking into using a VPS, which is a virtual private server. In case you're not a complete geek, it means that we only have a virtual server, which is an operating system running within another operating system (which is running on a physical computer). So that means that we don't have complete access to the actual machine, but for all intense and purpose, we won't be able to tell the difference. Also, we share the server with other people, which is why it's not too expensive (You can run multiple virtual machines at the same time).

Either way, we're still looking into it, and hopefully we'll come to a conclusion sooner rather than later.

Anyway, I've found a new error, Rob. Some of your stories just loop back to the story page; ie I clicked the 'read story' button on kyle and the commies, but instead of the story I got the story index page!
