Alex and Adele

On Saturday I went to an engagement party. I think it's probably the first one since Ben and Bec's - which is years ago.

Alex and Adele (the couple in the boat) are members of D.O.R.K.S. - which I have started attending pretty much every week.

I used to go to school with Adele and Tim (her brother). It's been great going to D.O.R.K.S. and getting to know people from Geneva (school) again.

And being Tasmainans - when it started raining, we went swimming. Well - not everyone - Adele and Alex were too busy doing engagement party stuff - but the rest of us D.O.R.K.S. headed to the pool. Very nice place to have an engagement party - the house had a decent little pool. The photo was taken after most people had given up - and the secret wall had been slide back in place to hide the pool again.

So thanks for the invite Alex and Adele - and all the best for the future!

congrats to them, I say :)

but what is DORKS and what does it (the acronym) stand for?!

and going to the pool as soon as it starts raining -- that makes sense! I mean, if it's an outdoor pool, you're going to get wet anyway if you swim, so what difference will some from-above wetness make? and if it's an indoor pool, well, you're wet already, aren't you?
