Gone Swimming....

Sometime during the middle of winter, it occured to me that I haven't been swimming for ages.

I don't just mean since Summer - I mean for at least 3 years.

So I checked it out - and the local swimming pool opened on the 20th of October (today).

So I went swimming today, and you know what? They heat the pool! Where's the fun in that?

brrrrrr.... basin = nono at this time of year.

yeah well, cold pools aren't much fun :S just be happy that your pool is open so long. Up here in Traralgon, the pool is closed till 1st of December, and is only open for like 3 months! And if we don't like those hours, the nearest pool is the overpriced, overheated, overchlorinated one out in Morwell!

Fidget always used to. After we'd been swimming she would sit and sniff my hair and purr, high as a kite for ages, remember?

And no, he was a polar bear not a penguin.

Polar bear with a beard who drove around in winter with the air-con on!

And it wasn't too cold the other day, the pool had had some good sun on it.
