Wrong RAM

Oh bother!

I bought some cheap DDR2 RAM from ItEstate because I had some money to spend there (thanks to something Turkey ordered not being in stock). I was planning to throw it in my current machine to give it a boost while I waited for Intel to release their new processors so I could finish setting up my new PC.

Unfourtuantly it didnt fit. Turns out my current PC pre-dates DDR2. Its a DDR1 machine!

So now I have to decide what to do with this DDR2 RAM. I could save it to put in the new PC, but I was planning to get faster RAM (not this cheap stuff). Hmmm....

Any thoughts?

Well, tell me this. How fast, how big, how much? I may be able to take if off your hands. I have a DDR2 system that may benefit a little...

Add it to my bill, I'll take it. It's the right stuff and a good amount for my computer... Up to 3Gb now!

oh well :)

You will nottice such a boost in speed from ddr to ddr2.

I had all the stuff i ordered arrive today. insane! case is massive. Duel Video cards looks sweet and motherboard supports the new core, even if you don't like it. it does support it. soo over all it should be good good computer :D
plus q6600 CPU is just weeeeYA! for gaming.

then again even with my computer, i end up having to turn off Cores to play quite a few games. otherwise things go just a LITTLE crazy!
