This weekend was the 2nd Brixhibition Lego expo in Hobart. So once again I packed up my car and headed south.
I really couldn’t fit much more in the car - it’s about as much as I can manage (and I left the trains behind).
This was part of my display (guarded by my cousin). I had four complete themes as well as all the current collectible minifigs, a modified Helm’s Deep display, and a few other odds and ends.
I brought my Lego tabernacle (see a few posts below) which was largely ignored, but a few people found it very interesting - pretty much as I’d expected.
This photo is courtesy of a random on Facebook. Brendon and I ran out of table space - so we were both pretty crammed. Next year we’ll know to ask for my tables than we think we need.
Jade’s zombie medieval castle scene was epic - in a totally different class to the rest of us!
Frances bought some classic lego from the 70s which was awesome to see.
Aaron left the Spirit behind this year - but bought along an awesome train layout instead.
I love Brent’s 7-Eleven!
I had three Where’s Wally custom figures that we hid around the display. Quite a few people (both young and old) were hunting for them intently. This one was in plain sight - but blends in very well with the pirates.
There are far more photos I could show you - but instead here’s a video of the crowds. Not a bad effort for good old Hobart.
