Maverick and Concert...Author: jawapro

Check this beast out!
Tim’s just bought himself a Ford Maverick (Nissan Patrol with Ford badges). It’s practically identical to Dad’s Maverick other than the fact that more of it’s paint is peeling and it’s got non-working AC (Dad’s doesn’t even pretend to have AC).
It might be a little rough, but it’ll be awesome offroad. Should be more capable out of the box than my Pajero. And Tim wants to put these tyres on it!
Poor old Oscar will be left for dead when Tim’s got these on! That’s assuming he can make them fit.
Looks like I’ll be needing bigger wheels too (I was planning on it eventually).
In other news - Saturday night was the Breath of Life music festival thingo. Not really sure what it is – but it was just down the road from my place (I could hear the music if I had my windows open) and had quite a nice line-up of artists. I went along for a couple of hours where some big name country singers were playing.
Troy Cassar-daley, Beccy Cole, and Kasey Chambers! That’s an awesome lineup for Tassie! Jimmy Barnes was billed as the major act and was the last to play – but I didn’t hang around for that. I just went for the country guys.
Troy Cassar-daley.
And his wife.
And some bloke called Diesel.
Kasey Chambers
And her husband.
And Beccy Cole.
I’m not normally the sort of guy who goes to concert - but it was quite fun.
And to wrap off such a good day - a game of Stalker multiplayer with Tom, Tim, and Jim.
