Star Destroyer

Hey guys - I just thought I´d show you this.

This is my latest piece of junk from ebay.

Its a model Star Destroyer.

And I think it looks very nice on my computer at work. I´ve had a lot of people comment on it so far.

That - and my Serenity wallpaper.

Yes, I think I would comment on it too. Oh, hang on, I am! It looks an awful lot like a computer case I have seen. Somebody made a computer case in the shape of a Star Destroyer. He´s just finished it. he doesn´t want to sell it, but he has said that if somebody offers him enough, he will sell it to them. He also thinks he is safe, considering the $50,000 he wants for it!

im appalled at the size of your screen mate. make them get you a 19 inch at least.

That photo makes it look very small - but its actually a 17 inch screen. Not tooo bad.

Is that a 17" CRT or a 17" LCD. I can´t tell from the photo. And considering that is an ATX case, the screen isn´t all that small. If you look at it in perspective, it isn´t all that bad. But big is good...

LCD. We got rid of all our CRT monitors. Well - we havent quite got rid of then yet. $20 for a 17 inch and a 15 inch for free - if you want one.

actually i knew it was 17 inch. we have one at work for the servers. but its soo small. i have a 19 at home and that feels small. :( oh and at work. you do have the same computer as me though. work ones. i think. i´m guessing a P4 2. something gig maybe 1.8 i can´t remember. 1 gig ram and some sort of hard drive. someone stuck a stupid 10 gig in mine grr. so i stuck a 100 gig in after.

Actually - I tell a lie. It´s only a 15 inch. Suprisingly it dosnt feel small though. I dont know why. Normally small screens really irk me - but I didnt even realise this one was smaller than mine at home. I guess if I tried sitting back a bit watching movies I might notice. And 28 - the PC is a 2.8 GHZ machine with a gig of RAM and a 40G drive. I couldnt handle a 40G at home - but at work it´s fine.
