Landrovers quickly grew in popularity owing to their awesome offroad ability and a staring role in an African documentary that highlighted (among other aspects) the unusual tree climbing behavior exhibited by some Landrovers. There are currently a number of Landrovers produced, ranging from tough workhorses to weak SUVs. Landrovers are the most popular 4WD in England. They have quite a following in Australia - although not as much as Toyotas and Nissans which don't break down as often.
The correct abreviation for a Landrover is Landy
In some instances, it can also be called a 'Rover' or 'Son of a Mlakka' or 'the Anti-christ'.
