Doing a Landy
The phrase 'Doing a Landy' refers to a multiple point turn in excess of three. Landrovers are world reknown for their incredible turning circles. There are even unconfirmed that a Landrover was able to turn around without needing to do multiple points in the Simpson Desert - but this is hotly debated as the desert isn't believed to be large enough. For most vehicles, a 3-point-turn is part of a driving test, but if a Landrover is used, this is increased to 20-points and only the best drivers can pass.
Any vehicle that requires more than three points to turn around can be claimed to be 'doing a Landy', regardless of it's make.
