Landy Cruiser
A breif course in the correct use of the above terms

Landcruiser

First produced in 1954, the Toyota Landcruiser is a rugged off-road vehicle. Initially designed for the Japanese military, it became a very successfull export for Toyota and is especially respected in Australia, America, and South Africa.

The correct abreviation for 'Landcruiser' is: Cruiser

In some instances, it can also be called a 'FJ' or 'Toyo' or 'Tojo'.

Refering to a Cruiser as a Landy is incorrect, and insulting to both Landcruisers and Landrovers, while displaying extreme (almost American) levels of ignorance on the part of the speaker.
